Activision and Infinity Ward have announced a major update for season 4 of Call of Duty Modern Warfare and Warzone. the substantial update, dubbed Season 4 Reloaded, will be online tonight, June 29, at 11 p.m. PDT.
For owners of Modern Warfare, the update will weigh between 22 and 36 GB, depending on the platform. Console players will also need to install a secondary download of approximately 3.5 GB, then restart the game to access multiplayer. For Warzone players, the download size will vary from 22 to 30 GB, depending on the platform. Once the installation is complete, there will be a slight increase in the digital footprint of Modern Warfare and a slight decrease in Warzone.
From new game modes to a new operator, the update will introduce a plethora of new content. The Activision blog gives us a full idea of what the reloaded season 4 will bring to Modern Warfare and Warzone.

Call of Duty Warzone gets some of the biggest additions
Perhaps the biggest revelation is that 200 players will be able to jump to Verdansk at once after the update rolls out. Currently, the increase in the number of players only concerns the Battle Royale Quads, which means that 50 Quads will wreak havoc until the end.
Warzone also gets the Juggernaut Royale mode which comes with a Juggernaut suit. Players must search for parachuted healing packages to become the Juggernaut and use the mini-pistol to shoot down enemies or vehicles.
“Once a Juggernaut is sent to the Gulag, a new Juggernaut healing package will appear on the map, so do your best to capture the suit and take on any squad that bothers you. “
In addition, supply contracts arrive in the battle royale. Activating the contract will direct players to a nearby shopping station. Players will receive a discount on purchases from the shopping station, if they arrive within the time limit.
That’s not all. New equipment, the Spotter Scope, awaits Warzone players. It is a high-powered and reusable scope that allows you to scan their environment to mark enemies while remaining undetected.
“Perfect for future tracking, the Spotter Scope is a great tool for operators who want to plan their next move while keeping a low profile. “

Modern Warfare also gets its share of new content
Modern Warfare players can experience multiplayer combat in a new map called Cheshire Park.
“Located in the urban city of London, England, Cheshire Park is a picturesque garden and veranda where operators will fight door to door or through the central area filled with flora. “
“Head to townhouses for long shots, shops to capture targets through intense CQB battles, or take the side streets for shortcuts. If you dare, try to challenge those who can settle in second floor windows, telephone boxes, front yards or scaffolding.“
In addition, Team Defender is back in Modern Warfare. It is a fast-paced goal-based game mode similar to Capture the Flag, but with a twist.
There is only one flag that a team member must capture and keep in possession, rather than the two teams defending their respective flags. A team scores one point for each second that its member keeps on the flag. Protecting the standard bearer is essential to victory. Meanwhile, the opponent’s motive is to shoot down the standard bearer, which will earn him points.
“The two teams will frantically try to take control of the flag until the very last second of this thrilling multiplayer experience. “

New weapon and new operator
Season 4 has already introduced new weapons to the lethal weapons inventory. Now, a powerful sniper rifle, the Rytec AMR, arrives in multiplayer and in battle royale. The Rytec AMR uses .50 caliber bullets and is “one of the deadliest semi-automatic anti-materiel rifles an operator can get their hands on.”
Players can unlock the sniper via in-game challenges. A plan variant is also available in the store as part of the “ Lost Souls ” pack.
After Captain Price and Sergeant Kyle “Gaz” Garrick, it’s time for another operator. Roze is the latest to join the fight list with the update. Its operator package will be available in the store, alongside other packages.
Other than that, a Warzone Starter Pack and a modern War Battle Pass edition, offering a range of cosmetics and other rewards will also be up for grabs. Check out the Activision Games blog for full details on the season 4 reloaded update.
