WASHINGTON DC- Activists installed a guillotine yesterday in front of the residential complex of Jeff Bezos, founder and owner of Amazon, demanding better working conditions for the multinational workers.
Also, a banner was placed on the guillotine that said:
I support our poor communities and not our rich people. “
There’s a DC-themed decorative guillotine on display. A fun fact about Bezos’ home is that it is the largest in the city and cost $23 million. During its renovation, the project racked up more than $16,000 in parking tickets alone. pic.twitter.com/w7s9wI5fiD

It is presumed that the protest was organized by the group “Abolish the present / reconstruct our future”, that is, “Abolish the present / Reconstruct our future”. In the call published on social networks, it was reported that the e-commerce company mistreats its employees and is racist, among other things.
So they demand to end the abuses, abolishing Amazon and the prisons.

The demonstration caused contrary reactions on digital platforms. On the one hand, according to RT, several users commented that the attendees incurred a death threat. “I would consider it a hate crime, where is the FBI?” Said one.
“I’m not a Bezos fanatic. But that’s disgusting. Just because he has money has nothing to do with you not having what you think you should. Study the French Revolution a little more. It’s not a romantic period someone else said.
However, some Internet users joked about the situation, since “surely” the guillotine was delivered by Amazon.
“Listen, I was also pissed off at the delivery of Prime for a couple of weeks’ delay, but this has improved lately,” an account posted.
Jeff Bezos is on the list of the richest people internationally. Last week alone, he added $ 5.6 billion to his earnings. Currently accumulating $ 164.5 billion, according to Forbes.
