Rhian Brewster admitted he doesn’t know what his future holds for him next season after his loan spell with Swansea City.
The striker arrived on loan from Liverpool in January and has scored seven goals in 14 matches for the Championship club.
Brewster has been linked to a move to Leeds United next season if they should get promoted to the Premier League, but is highly regarded and could feature in Jurgen Klopp’s first team plans.
Klopp was initially reluctant to approve a loan agreement last summer before authorizing Brewster to join Swansea in January.
The 20-year-old insisted he focus on Swansea’s orientation in the play-offs – they drag the first six by four points with six games to play – and does not know where he will play the next term.
“I just want to finish the season and I hope to be promoted. That’s the goal, “he told Sky Sports.
“Who knows? I don’t know if I’ll be here next season, I don’t know if I’m going to be with Liverpool. I don’t know where I will be next year, I’m coming I want to end the season in style and see what will happen next season. “
When winning the Liverpool title, he added, “Big congratulations to the boys. They deserved it, from the first ball that was kicked in the season, to now.
“I know they won’t stick to being champions – they’re going to be trying to win every game for the rest of the year. I know what they look like. I wish them well for the rest of the season.”
