March 8th is International Women’s Day

March 8th is International Women’s Day – registration by the end of January

International Women’s Day will be celebrated again on March 8, 2021. For Women’s Day in the coming year, the equal opportunities officer Gabriele Kretz calls on all women’s groups, women’s organizations, women’s associations or clubs and initiatives in the district to report on their events on Monday, March 8, International Women’s Day.

Corona confuses a lot and it is also not clear whether events can take place in the previous form.

It is therefore worth planning campaigns and events, whether via video or as an outdoor event or in other creative formats, for International Women’s Day 2021. All kinds of events in the thematic and temporal context of International Women’s Day, such as exhibitions, readings, lectures or women’s breakfast, workshop offers, films, women’s theater or cabaret, every creative idea is welcome.

The organizers are asked to send a short text on the planned course of the event, the location and time and contact persons to the Bernkastel-Wittlich district administration, equal opportunities officer Gabriele Kretz, Kurfürstenstraße 16, 54516 Wittlich or by email: [email protected] Registration closes on January 31st.
