The authorities ofRussia keeps under medical supervision about 138,000 peoples on suspicion of having caught the new coronavirus that originated in the Chinese city of Wuhan, as reported by the National Office for Consumer Protection (Rospotrebnadzor).

As of March 25, 138,769 people remain under control“, the Russian organism has explained, in a statement, in which it has specified that, until now,” 197,251 tests have been carried out to detect a new strain of coronavirus, “as reported by the Russian news agency Sputnik.

To date, Russia has confirmed658 coronavirus cases, of which 410 have been detected in Moscow. The pandemic of the new coronavirus originating in Wuhan leaves more than 470,000 people infected and more than 20,000 fatalities worldwide, according to official data compiled by Johns Hopkins University.
