The veteran Argentine exporterHugo Orlando Gatti, 75, was discharged this Wednesday after suffering from the coronavirus andwill continue with the recovery at his home in Madrid, as explained by his son Lucas in a brief statement.

“I am writing to tell you the good news: my father has been discharged. He is already at home and now there are days when he should be calm, recovering completely and following all the indications and controls that the doctors have requested” , wrote.

“We want to especially thank the medical teamwho has treated him and all the people who have helped us in this difficult moment considering the current world situation, blockades and distances, “he added in the text published on Twitter.

The former goalkeeper for Boca Juniors, River Plate and the Argentine team entered the hospital on COVID-19 at the end of March, but he responded well to the first treatments. After two weeks hospitalized, he has left the medical center to continue recovery with his family.
