Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, as part of his working trip to the regions, visited the Altai Republic on Wednesday, March 3. This is reported by the website of the Altai government.

Together with the head of the republic Oleg Horokhordin and the Minister of Agriculture of Russia Dmitry Patrushev, Mishustin has already traveled to the Amza agro-industrial park under construction in the Maiminsky district and to the production complex of the Narine company, where herbal teas, balsams and dietary supplements are made. There, the head of the government was presented with resin chewing gum.
Mishustin also held a meeting with representatives of the tourist industry, where the development of the industry was discussed not only in the republic, but also in the neighboring Altai Territory. Therefore, the meeting was attended by the governor of the region Viktor Tomenko, the general director of JSC “Kurort Belokurikha” Konstantin Yezhov, the president of the Altai tourism association Alexandra Tomashevich and the head of the regional department for the development of tourism and resort activities Yevgeny Deshevykh.
With regard to tourism in the two Altai, Mishustin noted that the potential of Belokurikha, Turquoise Katun, Denisova Cave and Lake Teletskoye is enormous. However, the necessary infrastructure in these places is not yet available. A project for its development is already being prepared.
In addition, Mishustin’s program also includes a visit to the republican classical lyceum and official negotiations with Oleg Horokhordin. By the way, today, March 3, in the Altai Republic, Mishustin celebrates his 55th birthday, but there are no festive events in the official program.
Together with the Prime Minister and the Minister of Agriculture, several more heads of ministries came to the republic: education (Sergei Kravtsov), economic development (Maxim Reshetnikov), finance (Anton Siluanov), construction and housing and communal services (Irek Fayzullin), as well as the head Federal Agency for Tourism Zarina Doguzova.
